CREDIT CARD REVIEWS:The Advanta Platinum with Rewards Customized BusinessCard, issued by Advanta, is designed for business owners who are looking to consolidate business expenses onto one credit card account and would like to earn rewards or rebates for business purchases. Through the rebate program, cardholders will receive a bonus rebate of up to 5% on qualifying net purchases in the following categories: gasoline and diesel fuel, computers, computer supplies, electronics, and office supplies, utilities and telecommunications, and online advertising services. The amount of rebates earned on all other purchases is based on the following scale: .25% on up to $3,000 in purchases; .5% between $3,001 and $5,000; .75% between $5,001 and $15,000; 1% on purchases over $15,000. Cardholders will receive a $50 check following any billing cycle in which their unpaid earned rewards reach $50. There is no limit on the number of rebates that can be earned. Cardholders may also choose the travel rewards program, which allows them to earn one point for every dollar spent on all purchases made with the card. Points can be redeemed for various travel rewards or Advanta bonus cards. There is no yearly limit to the number of points that can be earned; however, points will expire after three years. Both programs are free. Many common platinum business features can be found with this card, such as auto rental insurance, extended warranty coverage, itemized expense reports, online account access, and card personalization. Cardholders are also offered discounts on various products and services from participating retailers and merchants. The card has no annual fee and has an attractive long term 0% introductory rate on balance transfers. This card also has a very low interest rate that applies as long as payments are up to date; applicants should review the terms and conditions provided by the card issuer.
